The Ebeye students were so excited about the robotics event at Jabro Gymnasium last week.
In the day-long activity, high school students are trained to build and program robots from scratch. To test their skills, the students controlled their robot to transport blocks around a small field in the arena.
Sarah Willis from the MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Kwajalein participated in the activity.
The program is part of a robotics program supported by Habele as part of a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) initiative across Micronesia. Habele program on Ebeye starts on 2019.
