As cyclone Michaung gets closer to making landfall in south Andhra Pradesh, the Region Meteorological Department (RMC) in Chennai forecasted that ten districts in Tamil Nadu will see moderate rainfall and light thunderstorms on Tuesday morning.
“There is a good chance of light thunderstorms, lightning, and moderate rain across the Tamil Nadu districts of Chennau, Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, Ranipet, and Vellore. It is also most probable in remote areas in the Tamil Nadu districts of Tirupattur, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, and Kanyakumari, according to a release from the RMC in Chennai.
